"I don't know if I want to spent that much money on you."

"This is how I know it's your baggage."

Please forgive me for my passion — I'm here to advocate for women entrepreneurs to create the success you want! So, this week's email is going to get more real (and more hard).

  • This email is for you if we've been in contact about potentially working together, yet haven't yet...

  • It's also for you if you've been on the fence about saying "yes" or "no" to something in your life.

When we were in Mexico recently driving to a secret spot for surf, I pointed out the window and suddenly burst out from the passenger seat:

"That's the animal for my astrological sign!"

"A crab?" my close friend asked.

"Yep," I smiled. "Why do you think it's hard for me to be direct sometimes? I just tend to move side-to-side."

She laughed, knowing it was the truth.

Except being crab-like is doing a disservice to people in my life right now who I could serve.

Lately, we've put out several proposals for potential clients for whom we know we could substantially improve their business and life trajectories...

Yet, we're sensing resistance. Delays in signing. Budget concerns.

As a Neuro Linguistic Programming Coach and authentic business owner, I began to reflect:

"What's going on? Even with these personal referrals and our proven track record, what's the hiccup?"

My team and I started doing a deep dive:

  • "Are we charging too much?"

  • "Is the offer not aligned with the need?"

  • "Are we just not a right fit?"

  • "Does it have nothing to do with us and it's just life?"

Then I realized a good ol' truth: it could just be baggage.

I started to look at the feedback and the conversations and found a tell-tale sign.

When a potential client is given a call-to-action, yet one of the following statements is said, it's a sign of the four major objections people experience when embarking on a genuine life purpose or when pursuing change and growth:

  1. "I don't have enough money."

  2. "I don't have enough time."

  3. "I don't believe you."

  4. "It won't work for me."

We never hear #3 or #4, and only hear #2 when clients want us to come in and handle everything for them.

That leaves #1.

Are you saying "I need to think it over" when being presented with an aligned service that fits your needs?

Please pay attention.

Successful people make decisions quickly and are slow to undo them.

Unsuccessful people make decisions slow and are quick to undo them.

^ Read that again.

[FIRST NAME GOES HERE], whether it's a "yes" or a "no," you need to get there faster.

Time is passing. It's a non-renewable resource.

Either a "yes" or a "no" is worth celebrating, because it brings you closer to your next step!

But a "maybe?" Well, that's the worst place you can be.

(I know, I'm human too, and I'm speaking from experience.)

My job as a coach or consultant is to get you to that 'yes' or 'no' faster, so you have clarity — whether or not you choose to work with me.

The clients I work with find that they have more money because they stop wasting time on non-revenue-generating activities.

In the end, it's not about how much money you have (especially because we're always telling entrepreneurs we believe in that we're willing to work with your budget), it's about how serious you are with achieving goals.

If you know you have a need...

And you have a budget...

And you've discovered an amazing and vetted service provider with integrity who can provide a solution...

Yet you're on the fence...

Here's a proven list of questions you need to ask yourself to make a decision — faster.

This is how you can solve your internal battle, based on expert advice, to hack your unconscious blocks a.k.a. baggage.

You may be living out a pattern that's so deep, it's hard to recognize.

  1. Take a few deep breaths.

  2. Close your eyes. Connect to a deeper knowing.

  3. Then open your eyes, and ask yourself these questions:

If you need help, Office Hours are Wednesday, 9-10am EST.

Note the time zone change — we're currently flying to New York!

Get your questions answered. Even if it's not a "yes," with us, declare it clearly to the Universe, so the next opportunity can show up for you.

See you from the Big Apple this week,

Judy
