EPISODE 06: [MINDFULNESS] HO`OPONOPONO

During one of my travel articles as a press writer, I went to Maui and met with a Lomi Lomi teacher who regularly participated and led sacred Hawaiian rituals, including that of Ho`oponopono.

I loved it’s simplicity and how the goal was to create a space for grievances to be aired out as a community where everyone had an opportunity to share their peace, then once completed, everyone moved on, not to revisit it again.

Try today’s mindfulness practice, especially if you’re looking to cultivate more compassion and forgiveness for those in your Asian American family.
